About #PitMad

#PitMad is a pitch party on Twitter where writers tweet a 280-character pitch for their completed, polished, unpublished manuscripts. Agents and editors make requests by liking/favoriting the tweeted pitch.

Every unagented writer is welcome to pitch. All genres/categories are welcomed.

What is the difference between PitMad and the Agent Showcase? And the participating agents that are on the website now, are those the agents for the next PitMad or a previous one?

Thanks

The Agent Showcase is part of Pitch Wars and features the PW mentees. The agents featured on the website get first dibs on requests. PitMad is open to all on Twitter and ANY agent or publisher can request.

To autumn that was a great question, I was confused about the difference too. That you Rochelle Karina for explaining. I was really wrong about how it all worked.

The main page says the contest is now open, but when yu click the link to mentors, only 2019 comes up. How do we get to 2020?

[…] PS PitMad begins tomorrow and they’ve added a new hashtag, #BVM (Black Voices Matter). The hashtag was born from a suggestion. And is for use by black creatives pitching their stories in the event. Still have nothing ready to pitch but I’ll be on Twitter RTing pitches to show support. Good luck! […]
