Still writing . . . until my fingers bleed . . . and now a new face . . .

I’ve been drinking pot after pot of coffee, and I still don’t have any energy lately. So right now I’m drinking a Keva Juice with some sort of miracle energizer additive in the hopes that I can speed write today. NaNoWriMo is kicking my butt. Per the status on the site, if I keep writing at this rate, I won’t finish until December 4th. Oy! Just Oy! So I’m gearing up to whoop NaNo’s ass. Read more…

The Ticking Clock … and other ticks

I’ve had so much coffee this morning that the words on the page are speeding by. First off, I had an awesome Carmel Dulce at Satellite Cafe, which I got from their drive-through on my way to pick up my mother. I had to take her in for a procedure, and since she wasn’t going to be done for a few hours, I went to the nearby Starbuck’s to write. I had a Vanilla Latte Read more…

Ummm . . . NaNo

Today’s coffee is still out of the pot but without creamer because I forgot to get some yesterday. It’s the start of day five for NaNoWriMo, and I’m on schedule at 8k plus words written. Though what I have will take like seven little men polishing for hours upon hours and whistling while they work to get it shining like a diamond, I will keep going.  This is a short post because I’m sure you Read more…

Two Days left before the Cliffhanger Blogfest … A few words about my edits

There is only two days left to sign up to win some fabulous edit prizes so click the picture on the sidebar to join the Never-ending Scene Blogfest (or cliffhanger, whatever). Today’s coffee was a simple out-of-my-own-coffee-pot brand with vanilla creamer. It’s Saturday and everyone is home and we just kind of hang out, run errands, and stuff, hence the not so thrilling coffee choice. Anyway, I wanted to talk about edits. I received my Read more…

NaNoWriMo Prep. – The Project Book

Okay, so coffee this morning is Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks. It’s so yummy that I think the cute nerdy guy with the wide grin behind the counter forgot to make it skinny. Anyway, I’m getting a lot of disdainful glances today. Probably because I’m wearing a track suit and everyone else is in business attire. I know those sidelong looks are because they wish they could be wearing their sweats, kicking back, drinking coffee, Read more…
