Christmas card with hot cup of cappuccino, cinnamon sticks and christmas tree branch isolated,

The holidays mean drinking for the Fairholm Family in the New Adult book Elegantly Wasted. Actually, any day means drinking, but the holidays are no exception.

I have crafted a few different drinks for special occasions – which can be viewed on the Wasted Blog.

Give this bubbly cocktail a try… great for both Christmas and New Years.

Pomegranate Champagne Cocktail
Pick your favorite champagne! It helps if it’s on the dry side. (I use prosecco)

BD_003

Add 1oz. of pomegranate liquor such as Pama.
A small handful of pomegranate seeds.
Lemon peel for garnish.

This is a real simple recipe! Add or subtract the amount of Pama you use depending on your taste. It’s a very sweet liquor that blends well with the champagne.

If pomegranate isn’t your thing – I have a collection of drinks on my Pinterest Board.

That’s it… it’s fairly simple… I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays!
